Our glass partitions on this project enhanced the natural light that floods in from every angle of this office space. In the boardroom our client opted for our highest noise reduction system that produced 52dB – great for any confidential discussions. It was very important for our client to maintain a high level of privacy within the boardroom and therefore to further improve this, a switchable film was introduced.

Within this office environment, to create a modern and sleek feel, banding was used on the single glazing. bars with transoms within the cavity were used on the double glazed elements to achieve a high end finish.

In keeping with the high end feel, the doors included within this project were of premium quality. To boost the flow of the office space at the same time as maintaining durability and practicality within the workspace, timber doors were used on office fronts and access control glass doors were used in the corridors.

Technical details

• 12.8 acoustic laminate glass
• 12mm toughened/ heat soaked access control glass doors
• Nexaa’s micro head and base channel in RAL 9005
• Nexaa’s 100mm wrap around door frames
• Nexaa’s 100mm double glazed system with transom bars
• 3m glazing tape was used for the glass-to-glass joints to avoid any need for silicone
